Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor
My name is Helen Ping Brown, and I have been working in the finance and investment industry for the past 30 more years in Canada and China. I am currently a Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities in Vancouver. I hold a master’s degree in economics, and I am a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), and I hold the Advanced Retirement Management Strategies (ARMS) certification and Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL) as well.
My diverse experience and background in the investment industry helps me to understand the financial needs of my clients. My team, Wenny Peng, Jonathan Zheng and I work together closely with clients and their family, to help build plans to achieve their wealth goals with professional solutions, and stay on track over time.
When I’m not working, I enjoy drawing, traveling, hiking and movies. I also love children. I have been devoting myself at the church Sunday school every Sunday since 2003 for over 20 years to participate in charity activities and make contribution to communities. My husband David (CPA ®) and I are both super Vancouver Canucks fans and Whitecaps fans as well.

Wenny started working with Helen in 2007, shortly after she joined the financial services industry in 2005.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia.
She always offers the professional service for clients, advisors, and other internal and external partners with attention to details. She also provides proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and assist with client onboarding.
When she finds time, Wenny likes to watch comedy or take a stroll in the park.

Jonathan completed his undergraduate studies in China, and then came to Canada to further his education and graduated from UBC Sauder School of Business. He is always guided by his own standards of conduct (professionalism, hardworking, diligence in thinking, and keep improving) and is committed to provide everyone dedicated, professional and excellent customer service.
He excels in digital strategy development and execution and stays connected with the latest high-tech information and practices.
He is good at and willing to serve as a bridge of communication between generations, thereby helping all generations in each family understand, trust, and support each other.
He always believes that: making friends with the market is the foundation of doing a good job; treating clients as family is the way of receiving recognition.
